On 10 October 2024, the International Academic Research Center – UNICART with the support as external organization Consulmarc Svilupppo S.r.l. is hosting a peer review together with the Municipality of Maccagno with Pino and Veddasca Province of Varese (It) and Canton of Ticino (Sw) on the topic of social and urban recovery.
Borgo Paradiso is a tiny, ancient village located on Lake Maggiore, between the Canton of Ticino (CH) in Province of Varese (IT). The aim of the project is to revitalise the local area, in terms both of social and urban recovery and of repopulating the territory, which has in recent years lost a lot of residents, particularly young people. The project focuses on the hospitality sector in cohesion with sustainable criteria, energy transition and digital transformation of the EU Green Deal revolution moving towards an ‘Open Village’.
